As a child I had an American Plastic Bricks building set made by Elgo (not Lego). This building set was much more realistic looking than the Lego bricks. It included doors and windows that opened and closed. It came with an instruction booklet that included plans for a wide range of buildings that could be built and several views of each to guide you as you assembled them. On the back page of the booklet was a picture of all the buildings in the booklet laid out to look like a village known as Toyville. You may see a scan of this picture here. If you click on a building in this picture you will be shown several pictures of that building including the pictures from the instruction booklet.
In my younger years, just reproducing the buildings shown in the instruction booklet was enough, but I have since tried my hand at coming up with my own designs. And so here are proposals for some new edifices for Toyville.
The Toyville museum is an official looking building. It looks like it might be a government building, and in a way it is since the museum is part of Toyville State University. It features 3 galleries surrounding the main gallery and entryway.

The Toyville Masonic Hall is the meeting hall for the Toyville lodge of regular free masonry as well as office space and some recreational facilities for lodge members. It is considerably more than 4 walls with a roof over it. I think you will find the architectural details interesting enough to evoke the kind of architecture often seen in Masonic Halls.

The reinforcing beam is not entirely necessary, but it does
stiffen the structure considerably.

The Toyville Theater is not a movie theater, but what we would call a performing arts center. This is where the citizens of Toyville go to see the latest Broadway musicals, and where the Toyville symphony orchestra performs.
